Frequently asked questions
Which systems do you not install?
We do not fit monoblock or no outdoor unit systems. For everything else, we work with all major manufacturers, with particular expertise in Daikin and Mitsubishi. If you are unsure what you have, contact us and we will help you work it out.
Do you service units you did not install?
Yes. We service all manufacturers, whoever originally fitted the system.
How often should air conditioning be serviced?
We recommend at least once a year. For commercial sites we also offer F-Gas service contracts on a 3-monthly, 6-monthly, or yearly schedule, depending on the equipment and the site. Speak to us and we will recommend the right schedule for you.
What is included in a service?
A service covers leak checks, recorded performance readings, functional tests of the key components, cleaning the condenser coil, filters and condensate pump, and logging everything on a service sheet and the site F-Gas log.
What happens if you find more work during a service?
Anything we find is quoted separately rather than carried out the same day, so you stay in control of the cost.
Do you handle F-Gas compliance and paperwork?
Yes. We provide the F-Gas record keeping, decommissioning certificates, and compliance documentation that commercial customers are legally required to keep.
Can you design a system from scratch?
Yes, and for many projects it is the best way to get the right result. We calculate the heating and cooling loads for your space and design the system around them, so it performs properly rather than being fitted to a fixed specification.
